There is something powerful about surviving what once felt big enough to swallow you whole.

Survivor captures the shark at the surface, mouth open and teeth exposed. It carries the intensity of danger and fear, but its name shifts the story. This is not only a symbol of what threatened you—it can also represent the fact that you are still here.

The open mouth can hold many stories: the thing we feared, the experience we endured, the danger we escaped, or even the strength and fierceness we discovered in ourselves along the way. Survivor does not erase what happened. It honors what it took to make it through.

In sandtray work, this piece can represent survival, trauma, fear, threat, resilience, courage, vulnerability, power, facing what once felt overwhelming, or reclaiming strength after difficult experiences.
