Tempest

Tempest embodies the force of wind—the kind that surrounds us, moves through us, and demands that we respond. The figure stands within the swirling current, her hair and body caught in its movement. She is not separate from the storm; she is part of it.

Wind can arrive as a gentle shift or a powerful force. It can unsettle what has been still, carry things away, change direction without warning, and make space for something new. Tempest holds both the uncertainty of being caught in forces beyond our control and the strength required to remain present within them.

In sandtray work, Tempest may represent change, upheaval, uncertainty, feeling swept up or overwhelmed, forces outside of one's control, transition, movement, adaptability, or learning how to stand within the storm without being consumed by it.
