Surrender

Surrender captures the space between holding on and letting go. Rooted into the earth, the figure leans back with her face lifted upward and her body open. There is vulnerability in her posture, but there is also strength.

Surrender can represent releasing control, accepting what cannot be changed, trusting what comes next, or allowing ourselves to simply be present with what is. Sometimes surrender is not about giving up. It is about discovering the strength that can come when we stop fighting against what is.
